FRAIKIN today announces that Group CEO, M. Pierre-Louis COLIN, has decided together with the Board of Directors, to step down from his role at the head of FRAIKIN.
The Board of Directors has appointed its current Chairman, M. Philippe MELLIER as CEO of FRAIKIN and decided to begin a search process for a new Group CEO to be appointed in due course. Philippe MELLIER had been appointed Chairman of the Board in November 2018 and has been involved in building the Group’s ambitious transformation plan.
About Philippe MELLIER
Philippe MELLIER began his career with Ford Motor Company, where he held various executive positions in France, Portugal, New Zealand and Mexico before being appointed Executive Vice-President Marketing, Sales & Services for Ford of Europe. In 1999, he joined the Renault Group as Sales and Marketing Director for Europe, then Chairman and CEO of Renault Trucks and Member of the Executive Committee of Volvo AB. In 2003, Philippe MELLIER was appointed President of Alstom Transport and then became Executive Vice-President of the Alstom Group. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of De Beers, the world leader in diamonds in 2011, a position he held until 2016. He joined the FRAIKIN Group in 2018 as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Philippe MELLIER graduated from ENSTA and hold an MBA from INSEAD.
